Peace of the Land

Peace of the Land is a collection of paintings that began as moments I didn’t want to lose.

Each work holds a quiet experience of place, where light softens, time slows, and the land offers a sense of stillness that feels both grounding and expansive. These are moments that remind me of what remains constant beneath the noise.

In a world that can often feel chaotic and uncertain, I find myself returning to nature as a source of balance, clarity, and quiet healing. The land asks very little of us, yet gives so generously, offering space to reconnect, to breathe, and to remember what truly matters.

These paintings are an invitation to pause. To look again at the world around us, and to consider the possibility of a more conscious way of living, one rooted in presence, care, and connection.

I believe that meaningful change begins close to home, within ourselves, our families, and our communities. Through small acts of awareness and kindness, something larger begins to shift.

It is my hope that these works offer a sense of calm, and a gentle reminder that beauty, harmony, and connection are always available to us.

The Shed, Tasmania

This original landscape painting captures a quiet moment along Tasmania’s coastline, where a solitary structure rests between land and water.

Soft light moves across the scene, drawing the eye through open space and into a sense of stillness. Painted in acrylic on canvas, this work reflects a deep connection to place — both expansive and intimate.
