This body of work delves into abstraction through a focused examination of the ancient rock formations along Tasmania's East Coast. By dissecting these weathered surfaces in detail, the paintings uncover intricate patterns and transcendental shapes that transition between the textured close-up of mottled rock and ethereal galaxies of luminous colour. The delicate, lace-like brushwork embraces the contours of the curvaceous forms, imbuing them with a radiant, glowing presence.
Dimensions: 121cm X 91cm
Creation date: 2026
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Frame: Framed in Tasmanian Oak
