This painting is one in a series of works produced from the artist's time spent on the East Coast of Tasmania.

This painting almost abstract in its presentation captures the weathered lichen-encrusted rocks in all their raw beauty. These rocks nestle gently together, each form illuminating the next. They seem indestructible in their composition, yet time weathers away at the surfaces exposing their true formations. Over many years the individual becomes one.
